In 2007, the Alzheimer's
Association began a
movement to dramatically increase awareness and concern about
Alzheimer's. We're calling on 5 million Americans — one
for every person living with the disease — to become a Champion
and join the Alzheimer cause. We're closer than ever to research
breakthroughs that have the potential to change
the course of this disease. Now is the time for you to
take action and join us. Let's win this fight!
Champion
celebrities, including Wayne Brady, Molly Sims,
Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Tony Plana share how Alzheimer's
disease touched their lives.
You know them from the entertainment and sports worlds. And
now they are helping us to recruit 5 million people to 'champion'
the Alzheimer cause. Many of these well-known personalities
have a personal connection to the cause because they've lost
loved ones to Alzheimer's.
